If you are walking Nelson’s tracks you will come across many small life dramas played out on the sand. It’s interesting to try work out who was involved and what was going on. There is a book you might consider. A bit expensive but, according to Jono:
“Definitely recommend. Good for the coffee table too, casually left open at the wombat scat photo pages… a conversation starter”
Tracks, Scats and Other Traces, A Field Guide to Australian Mammals by Barbara Triggs. Oxford University Press Revised Edition 2004. Still in current production. A large section on bones as well.
