Nelson Coastcare Inc. also has an active Australian Business Number (ABN) 30462639004 and is registered as a Charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC). We are not a Deductible Gift Recipient.
Our elected Executive Committee comprises a President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
Nelson Coastcare is a member of, and insured by, Landcare Victoria.
We are part of the South West Environment Alliance (SEA), a collection of environmental groups from across the Glenelg Shire.
Our funding comes primarily from grants supplemented by membership fees and donations.
We work with and receive support from several government agencies including Parks Victoria, Coastcare Victoria (DEECA) and the Glenelg Hopkins CMA.
We appreciate the help we get from the community and other groups in Nelson and across the border in South Australia.
